Announcement re: Canada Post Strike

Canada Post has been on strike for a week. I want to be clear that I support them in this endeavor. They have the right to strike, and they chose the best time of year to do it.

But I do rely on lettermail to send items from my home to yours. So, as the strike continues with no end in sight (last time it went on for over a month), I have been trying to decide what to do about orders.

Using a service that I wouldn’t normally use because of a strike feels icky. It would also cost quite a bit more. I thought about just closing up the shop for now, but I decided to keep it open. As a consumer, I know I don’t mind waiting if it’s something for myself – even if it’s for other people, I’m sometimes OK with giving an IOU in a card… and honestly, as a small business owner, I need whatever sales I can get.

So, for those of you willing to wait: ✨️Thank you!✨️

I am extremely grateful (as always) for your orders. Everything is currently 10% off, to thank you for your patience. I will keep packing the orders as I receive them and ship them as soon as I’m able to.

The t-shirts and hoodies are printed on demand in the US, so if you are in the US, they will be delivered as normal (though delays are always expected this time of year). You still get 10% off. If you’re in Canada, they might be affected by the strike, especially if you are in a more rural area.

If you placed an order in the past week, please check your e-mail.
