New Stickers and Pins, Now Available!

All my new products are now available!

I got a whole bunch of new stickers printed. Most of them feature my eraser stamp prints, which you’ll be familiar with if you’ve followed me for a bit.

I also made a sticker featuring some colourful bandaids that says “never too old”, inspired by my box of “kids” bandaids. If you follow my stories on Instagram, you’ve probably seen at least a few photos of Muppets or Cars bandaids (probably on a finger I cut with a carving tool) saying something like “buy the fun bandaids” – because why not? Always go for the tiny thing that makes your day a bit brighter.

My husband’s takeaway from the bandaid design is something like “You’re never too old for adventure”, which is also pretty cool. I’d love to hear anyone else’s interpretations!

I also recently got a button-making machine! At first, I planned to make a bunch of very round frogs and other animals (and I’m sure I’ll get back to that plan eventually), but I’m not great at sticking to one idea. I tend to bounce around between projects and follow whatever ideas I have at the moment… which is probably how I came to own a machine for making pin-back buttons in the first place.

So, this first drop of pins includes one round asian painted frog that I drew before I got distracted… by a meme I saw going around some art communities on social media.

It said “Make Bad Art (It’s better than AI)”, and it resonated with me. I had to make my own version. I made it in 2 sizes – 2.25″ and 1.25″. I also made a digital image that you can feel free to share. I’m thinking of making it into a phone wallpaper too.

I used a rainbow background on the “Make Bad Art” design, and the rainbow alone is available as a 1.25″ and 1″ pin.

Then I had the idea to make 3 nostalgic designs based on the digital pets that were popular when I was a kid. You might have seen my frog Gigapet in my stories a few times. I love these toys… but I also don’t seem to have the attention span to keep them alive for very long. Luckily, you can forget about my pocket pet pins and they’ll still be happy (and make you happy) when you find them again! I made a frog (of course), a cat and a bird to start. I’d love to keep adding designs to this collection.

The “look for the rainbows” design was created on a day when I was feeling particularly low. I struggle with anxiety and depression, especially with some chronic health issues I’ve been dealing with lately. One way that I get through the worst days is by focusing on the little things. The whipped cream on my fancy caffeinated drink every morning, the bumblebees at the bus stop, my kid rambling at me for an hour about whatever he’s interested in lately… and on those particularly terrible days those things feel like little rainbows in the storm.

I also made a few of my pink eraser designs into pins. They didn’t all work in this format, but the strawberry, the goldfinch and a couple of the beach designs worked out.

I think that’s everything. I’m excited to see what you all think!
