New Year, New Website!

I have a bit of a confession to make… When I started this website, I honestly didn’t really put a lot of thought into it. I wanted to make more art, and I wanted to share it with people. I knew I could get it printed on demand on all sorts of things, and I figured people might want to buy it… and I tend to be a little impulsive.

Over the past year or so, I have done a lot of research and learned a lot of things. I have thought hard about what I want from this business, what I want you (my customers) to get from me, and what our future together looks like. In the end, I decided I needed to start this whole thing over so we could be on the right track from the beginning.

The shop looks a little empty right now, but that’s because I am in the middle of growing my collection of samples. Every product in the shop with my art printed on it is now a product that I personally own, use, and love.

I am (despite my impulsiveness) a fairly practical person. I like things that are comfortable and that last. I don’t buy anything expecting to have to replace it in the next few months or even years. Some pieces of clothing I own and still wear are over a decade old! That is the kind of quality I am looking for when I’m looking for items to add to my shop. In fact, some of the clothing brands I will be carrying are ones I have owned (with other peoples’ art on them) for quite a few years.

Obviously, not everything in my shop is something I have owned for years, but I am scouring the internet for reviews before deciding what to order, and then testing it myself before offering it to you.

Some things (currently only the stickers, but maybe more in the future) I am ordering in small quantities and shipping to you myself. In some cases (like stickers), this is because print-on-demand just makes the cost ridiculous. There are also a few products I have my eye on that I can only get by ordering a number of them upfront. This does mean that there are limited quantities of these items, so get them while you can! I can’t say when or if I will be restocking them.

I am also hoping to add some actual handmade items later this year. These will be one-of-a-kind items created using various hobby skills. I have lots of ideas and have no idea what I’m going to make first, but I am excited!

So… welcome to the new website, tell me what you think! And Happy New Year!
